Day Five:

I was up at 4:30, I made coffee, read the news, and went to work on the website. I am now caught-up with the blog, Shelter-in-Place, and I think it’s okay for human consumption.

Erin got up and told me she got-up during the night and finally got Cover California to accept her application for medical, but the rates seemed higher than they should be. She is going to call them on Monday. She had wanted this part to be done so she could take her mind off of it. Not happening!

We took an earlier walk today, it was suppose to rain, but didn’t happen (big Surprise), Ha ha. We walked a different route this morning venturing a little out of our comfort zone. We walked up toward the main road through town and it was kind of quiet, it is usually very crowded on Saturdays because there is a Costco across the street, but even it was quiet. We ended up at our neighborhood park and walked one time around the track, instead of three times which is our norm.

The Mailman came, and guess what, no letter from my company. It only adds to the frustration of not being able to get our business in order till Monday. The only good thing about it is that it forces us to take our minds off of things we can’t change for a day and a half. Easier said than done!

I barbecued chicken and had a drink, then we made salads and watched all the late night TV guys doing their shows from home. It was a hoot. With all the crap coming down it’s nice to watch a little comedy. It really helps take the edge off.

Then we went to bed…
